Java & Spring Boot Application Diploma
Build a complete system with a Spring Boot back end, a React front end and a PostgreSQL database, then deploy it to the cloud.
What will you learn in this course?
By the end of the course you'll be able to:
Advanced OOP concepts and object-oriented design
Write organised, easy-to-change code using object-oriented programming, design patterns and SOLID principles.
Building RESTful APIs with Spring Boot
Build complete REST APIs and document them with Swagger so the front-end team can use them without questions.
SQL database design and Spring Data JPA
Design a PostgreSQL database and work with it through Spring Data JPA.
Application security and JWT authentication
Protect the app with login and permissions using Spring Security and JWT.
Software testing and quality: unit and integration tests
Write automated tests with JUnit and Mockito that catch bugs before users see them.
Hands-on projects that mirror the job market, and CI/CD
Work with Git in a team, run the app in Docker and deploy it automatically.
Study plan and curriculum
- How the JVM works and how memory is managed.
- Inheritance, polymorphism and encapsulation, applied to a small project.
- Collections and Generics, and functional programming with Streams and Lambdas.
- Hands-on practice with lists, trees and maps (Lists, Trees, HashMaps).
- Analysing algorithm complexity and optimisation strategies (Big-O Notation).
- PostgreSQL database design, table normalisation and complex SQL queries.
- Spring Boot architecture, Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control (IoC).
- Developing controllers and RESTful API routes, and input validation.
- Connecting to databases with Spring Data JPA, and caching solutions.
- Build a complete system of your choice: an online store, a booking system or a financial wallet.
- Present the project to a panel of trainers and developers from local software companies, with a detailed code review.
- Receive your certificate with a digital verification link you can add to LinkedIn.

Programme FAQ
Yes. Every lecture is uploaded to the trainee portal within 24 hours, and the materials and code stay available to you after the diploma ends.
The fee (₪1,650) can be split into 3 equal instalments (₪550 each) with no extra interest: the first when you register and confirm your seat, the second in week three, and the last in week six.
A computer with an i5 processor or equivalent and 8 GB of RAM is enough; 16 GB is better for running Docker and the database together smoothly.
A Discord group with the trainer and two assistants who answer your questions and review code daily, plus a weekly office hour.
Data Analysis & AI with Python
Clean and analyse data, then build simple machine-learning models that solve real problems using data from local companies.
